The Jury has been charged, will they choose the Death Penalty?

Jones is off the stand, the Defense and the State have rested as to the penalty phase. Judge Colton has read the charge and the instructions to the Jury. The Jury must consider the victim impact evidence and the statutory defined aggravating circumstances presented by the State, as well as the mitigation evidence presented by the Defense. The Jury, by unanimous decision, may choose to apply the Death Penalty or Life without Parole, if they can’t agree, the sentence will be Life in Prison to serve a minimum of 51 years before release eligibility. The Jury took 1 hour and 40 minutes to convict Jones. How long will they consider the Death Penalty? How long will they take to sentence Jones? They start their deliberation at 8am tomorrow.
